please note that this 60gb starter kit does NOT include the HDD transfer kit like it states in the product description. I called 1-800-4-My-Xbox and had a little chat. Kit is on it’s way to my house

seriously though . . . I’d guess that the majority of the folks purchasing this 60gb HDD kit, are owners of 20gb kits looking to upgrade . I don’t think it’s people that are buying Arcades and then adding an HDD

so why not include it in the package ? the time spent both from a consumer and customer service view was long enough that it would be beneficial to MS to just go ahead and toss it in there . . . . who cares if not everyone needs it . . . . . . I don’t need the short-*** Ethernet cable they through in there either . . . . or the headset . . . . or the 3month card

sell me the HDD and the transfer kit for $50 and I’d be much happier

fwiw, if you have an older Core or a new Arcade, you can get a 20gb HDD and 3month Live card for 1/3 of this price from Microsoft
the reality is that 20gb is to small for a device that’s encouraging Game Installs and HD download content
120gb isn’t much better. there is supposedly a way to dump some things off via “an attached USB device” but only from the rear USB port

Microsoft should have offered an HD cable with this package to make this a perfect deal for those upgrading. Otherwise its a pretty good deal.
It would be nice if Microsoft allow third party hard drive, like Sony with the ps3.

Haven’t really experienced the quality of the product yet because I hardly download anything to hard drive. I bought it just in case I might start downloading. I still had over half my memory left on my old 20G HD.

I got this as a birthday present, the hard drive works fine and i haven’t used the 3 month xbox live yet but the head set doesn’t work. the jack keeps shorting out . THIS IS THE WORT THING I EVER BOUGHT FROM AMAZON. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY BODY

I’ve got an idea. Let’s create a game where all you do is walk around and push your way through crowds, try not to be noticed and draw absolutely no attention to yourself.

That is a great idea! It needs a good name and a high price or no one will buy it.

Love the graphx. . . amazing really when you own a 60″ flatscreen, and a 360. What else could a girl want right? I rented the game, but as soon as I got sick of playing a “male” character, I returned it to the store not wanting to buy it for myself for that reason alone.

Come on guys. . . how hard is it to write in the ability for a female to be the heroine huh? I expected more, better luck next time.

After tweaking the sensitivity settings for over an hour and getting increasingly frustrated with how unrealistic the car control felt, I decided to give it one last shot with the microsoft steering wheel. Let me tell you this; unlike previous NFS games, this one is WORTHLESS without the steering wheel: The unrealistic and jumpy steery becomes MUCH more natural, and it starts to feel like it should.

Now if they could only do something to reduce the lag in the steering inputs. . .

I’ll start off describing the gameplay: hack and slash, hack, hack, hack, hack, slash, hack, slash, hack, slash, hack, hack, hack. . and so on. . . it is without a doubt the most boring game I’ve ever seen. Now added to the terribly repetitive gameplay is a dreary anti-religious storyline. The real historical Crusades was a time of great joy and heroism on both sides. Muslims celebrated the conquest of Jerusalem by Saladin just as Christians had celebrated its recapture in the First Crusade. You won’t find anything uplifting in this game, you’ll find a game which would rather present that time as a dark horror movie. Oh you trendy gamemakers and your “Atheism will bring us a utopia on Earth” nonsense.

The game is an insult to both Christians and Muslims who have always presented their achievements in the Crusades with a sense of pride and honor. If you like this game why are you wasting your time in this bastardized version of the Crusades? Why not just go play Silent Hill or some other horror game because that is what this plotline is more suited to. This isn’t a historically accurate game, this is utopian garbage.
